DP167 Soapbar - Need wiring info for pickup

DP167 Soapbar - Need wiring info for pickup

Hi,

I have a DP167 the I want to install but it came without the install instructions, so I'm not sure which is the hot, the black wire or the white wire. Anyone know this off the top of their head?  I checked the DiMarzio site and soapbar install files are no longer there.

You can either use as hot. They are both isolated from the base plate. I would start with white as hot. If the pickup is out of phase with the other pickup when both are selected, swap black with white.

As DarkBlueMurder mentioned, it really doesnt matter but I typically go with white being hot if I only have a choice of black and white.
