I used to have an HS-3 in the neck position.  Loved it, but it became too low output for my new medium/high-output humbucker in the Bridge.
Recently, I installed a Virtual Solo (bridge pickup), in the neck position, that I had lying around.  I liked the power, but I think it's too mid-heavy for what I like as neck pickup.
I'm really looking for something with a similar tone curve to the HS-3, but with more power/higher output.
I looked on the Dimarzio site, and I am now considering either the Injector Neck, the Chopper, or maybe a Fast Track 1.  Also, I'm only looking for hum-canceling pickups.
I was wondering if you guys could make a suggestion
Thank you,

				Maybe try the Satch Track?

Thanks yes.  I thought about the Satch Track also.

The Satch Track is anyway a typical humbucker. If you prefer a single-coil sound the Injector or Fast Track 1 are better choices.

You can always wire the Satch Track to run in parallel too  8)

If the Virtual Solo was too midheavy for you I would consider either the Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues 2 or the Injector neck model. Both have enough output to keep up with a medium output humbucker at the bridge. And even though my memory of the HS-3 is faint now I would be willing to bet that either pickup I suggested would blow it away.
Cheers Stephan
