I have an Ibanez RG 3120 FM. I know the bridge is a PATB-3. But I can't identify the neck. Some help would be much appreciated. Based on photos I'm thinking its a HFH because of backplate color and the fact that it was in the bridge. The Evo has these, but they're black.

Can you meter it? I think you mean to say it was in the neck, right?

Back plate color won't be a conclusive indicator.
The DCR and a description of the tone you are getting from it would help. Getting DCR reading in series and each split coil could be even more helpful.

If it's the neck pickup off an RG3120, it's likely a PAF Pro.
