Did VAI use the PAF pro on "skyscraper"?

I really like his tone on this record!  Much more than his later tones :)
it has that PAF pro tightness and clarity?
anyone know for sure?
This is the guitar he used for that record and they are dimarzio's and have black hex poles.

I have always thought that is what he was using. Dual Paf Pros. I don't have a reference for that to verify it though.

The first Ibanez JEM is dated 1987, so you do the math :)
Where is it said that he used only that particular Andersen for the whole record?

I really like his tone on this record!  Much more than his later tones :)

I would have thought he used a JEM on that record, but who am I to argue with the man himself :o

I think the PAF Pros were released with the original JEMs, so it's hard to say what was in the Anderson guitar.  It could be PAF Pros, or maybe prototypes, or it could be Super Distortions.  There was a lot of processing in his sound in those days too, so it will take more than just pickups.

Colleague from another forum has 1990 Jem FP, dual PAF Pro... and FP2 (from 92 I think), blue one is also dual PAF Pro.
