Anyone tried to reach them recently? I've been calling and leaving messages for over a month, no one ever answers the phone or returns messages.

Dimarzio has an enormous backlog of orders to fulfill and emails to answer - Last I heard, retailers were waiting on June 2020 orders with zero updates.

I noticed that with many retailers various models are out of stock, e.g. nobody stocks a Liquifire at the moment. Hope they get back on track soon.

I haven't tried contacting them but I wouldn't be surprised if they're extremely short staffed during this whole pandemic thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Although I wish there was some mention of the suspension of operations somewhere.

I've heard that they stopped production for a few months, but have been getting back to work recently, slowly fulfilling orders. A bunch of dealers have been backordered for months.

I think being in N.Y. has a lot to do with it as they got hit VERY hard and by way of that had some of the strictest Covid restrictions. What's crazy is I just looked at a graph from the states that are the strictest to the least strict. It seems this virus is going to do what it is going to do regardless of what we try and do to prevent it spreading. That's the chaos theory of nature for you. I'll be glad when it's in our rear view mirror. I too have noticed the lack of availability and am jonesing for some new pups for a couple of axes.

Yes, they were shut down for a while. Much of NYC was.

Still cannot reach them and they do not return messages. Sucks because they used to be very available and a great resource.

I emailed Steve earlier in the week with a spec question and received a reply within 24 hours. I don’t know what the deal is, but I get the impression that they’re treating the backlog of emails like a sink full of dishes.

Finally got them for the first time in a Year on Friday. They got to answer a year's backlog of questions ;)
