36th PAF Bridge + Area 67 middle + Cruiser (Bridge) in neck?
« on: October 17, 2015, 05:23:30 AM »
Hi guys. Long time since I was here. Anyway, I got great deal on one very cool guitar. I like the neck feel, has good sustain for alder guitar, but pickup sucks. They are bit "metal oriented". Anyway, I'm thinking about putting some vintage pickups in it. I'm blues, jazz and country player. So ... what do you think about this combo?

Yeah that would be a good combination and you would use 250k pots throughout.  Make sure the bridge pickup has a tone control on it.

Agree with that combination for the styles you quoted.
