Title: Injector Bridge + Area Middle & Neck
Post by: Manatee on March 27, 2018, 07:51:23 PM
Hi, Im new to this forum  :)

I have been looking for noiseless pickups for my strat-type guitar, ash body, maple fretboard, ss frets, 250k pots.

Was thinking of an Injector bridge, Area 58 middle, Area 67 neck. Right now I have no idea if the Injector will overpower the Areas. The idea was to keep the bridge pickup height lower. Anyone has any experience?

If you’d like something with a bit more beef in the bridge, that’d be a good setup to consider.

Thanks! Would a 54pro be a better middle pickup than the 58 to complement the 67 neck and injector bridge? I use the middle and in between positions quite a lot.

I use the 54Pro between an Air Zone and PAF Pro and it keeps up pretty well. The 67 and 58 were both too weak in the same position. The 61 works as well as the 54Pro.

I have a similar set up in one of my strats - 67 neck, 58 middle, Virtual Solo bridge. The Virtual solo does not owerpower the others.

Cheers Stephan

The injector bridge would work totally fine.
