Q: Treble bleed mod for Bill Lawrence USA L500
« on: September 17, 2015, 11:25:36 PM »
Hi Guys. What cap and resistor do you use on your treble bleed mod for Bill Lawrence USA L500? I installed duncan mod on it, but when I lowered the volume to 1-2 it is still muddy. I used Alpha B500k MIJ for volume and tone. TIA!

It's honestly a lot of trial and error for me to find a value I like. I just increase the value of the capacitor until I find one I like really.

This. However, I found that for me with a 500k volume pot, a 1 meg resistor in parallel with a 150pf or 180pf capacitor works well.
