Transition Neck or Illumintor neck in bridge position

Has anyone tried Transition Neck or Illumintor neck in bridge position? I'm using hss axe with injector neck, custom north up a5 single, and a8 bridge hb which is too hot. Dimarzio tech dept claims that transition neck should works. Whats your opinion guys?

I don't know but I'd love to find out if anyone tried this as I absolutely LOOOOVE the Transition bridge.
