Hi guys!
This is my guitar I crafted and put Evo 2 and VVHeavy Blues 2 pickups. While I happy with sound of Evo 2 I want something more powerfull and compressed replacement for neck VVHB2.
Thinking about Pro Track or Super Distortion S. Which one will better match with Evo 2 and which one will scream and cut like Evo? I prefer when bridge and neck pickups have equal output and dynamic.
P.S. It should has good split tone too.

Neither, I would try a chopper.

I had chopper. Didn't like it.

The Pro Track is voiced kinda like the PAF Pro (PRO Track, PAF PRO) so it might work out well for you if you want something more humbuckery. If you want a more single-coil vibe with bumped up output, maybe a Virtual Solo?

I have Virtual Solo too. Prefer set Evo 2 close to the strings. It gives me more tightness and push in sound. In that case Virtual Solo lack output to balance well with Evo 2. And Virtual Solo has very strong magnetic field. I can't set it to close in neck position. I kills sustain. But in bridge position in amazing!
Think I will keep VVHB2 and VS for my future strat project.

In that case, protrack. I think Super D single in neck would be too thick/dark for what you want.

Chopper came to my mind first. What did you not like about it?

I tried it long time ago but with different guitar and gear. Is had weak sound with lack of bite and attack. Not cross between single coil and humbucker as described on DiMarzio web page. Just very weak humbucker.
I have experience with soldering guitar electronics so I doubt that I did something wrong with it. I don't know may be it was defective pickup.
By the way. Already ordered Super Ds on ebay. If it will be to powerful I can just set this pickup far from strings or wire it parallel. So much options.

If the Chopper was too weak for you then the SatchTrack would be the wrong choice. Pro Track would be the next step up, then the Air Norton S and then the high powered stuff such as Tone Zone S, Super Distortion S or BC-2.
The only experience I have with the Super Distortion S is in the bridge spot so I have no ideal what it sounds like in the neck spot.

Lock and loaded! At least installed Super Distortion S in neck position. Fantastic pickup! Better than I expected! It is powerfull, screams with a lot of cut. It is smooth but not too dark. Have a lot of presence thanks to high-mids. In comparison with regular Super D it is brighter, less balls but with more bite and better dynamic. Exactly what I was need.

Great! Enjoy then.

The Super Distortion is a bridge pickup.

The Super Distortion is a bridge pickup.
But works greatly in neck too.
