Sam @$$ online let me order a wireless receiver. And then they sent me a receipt and everything.

After no shipped message, I checked and it said "processing."  OK - weekend backlog.  Then after no word on it I called Customer Service. Guess what? It was on backorder and the Sam @$$ did not have the decency to let me know before I ordered, or when they found out.

I ordered from there BECAUSE other places had the item on back order.

Dooshbags just lost my online business forever.  Let it be known - Sam Ash does not provide accurate (or any as far as I can tell) back order info online.

Didn’t they close?  Maybe you did them in!

High E for me.  It’s not that I bend it more than a G or E.

Now, I haven’t counted the breaks, but for me the B goes a lot also.

Very thorough review, as are all your reviews.  Thanks!

I used the PAF Pro some years back in the bridge of a Hamer Scarab.  Hog body and neck, sort of an odd take on an Explorer style.

It was ok, but I think I may have going more for an old style vintage hot to hot pickup…I know, that’s a lot of range there.  Eventually I ended up with a X2N.  I was pretty confused, but eventually it was Dimarzio who did trip my trigger!

However, how you describe the neck position makes me very interested.  I’ve had similar experiences with the 59 and Jazz in terms of when they do and do not deliver clarity, so what you write re the PAF Pro neck sounds good.

Could you elaborate on a PAF Pro vs the Duncan Jazz a bit more?  It sounds like you found both delivering clarity, and having had a Jazz neck in a Les Paul, I’d agree about the Jazz.  How is the PAF Pro different from the Jazz?

Looking forward to that nientui!

I liked it a LOT! and hope you like it, too :)

I fell off the earth for a while, but I’ve now read your review, well written!

I think I could like the pickup, as vintage hot seems to suit me well these days.  I have some ok pickups in a Hamer right now, but a pair of cream Dimarzios would suit it well, I think.

I noticed there isn’t a cream option, but the relic white looks darn close.  I’m curious about that.

I’m waiting on your AN review, and coincidentally, the Air Classic is what I’ve picked for the neck.  Nice review, and confirms what I’ve gathered up to this point.

Looking to drop a pair of Dimarzios into a 93 Hamer Special FM.  I’ll go Air Classic in the neck.

I have been thinking 36th, but your description of the AN in the bridge is sounding like something I’d dig.

My Dimarzio experience is limited to Super Distortions and X2Ns.  Those really worked well for me.  I’m looking for lower output these days, but not necessarily 1950s PAF output.

Looks interesting, although I don’t have a guitar for that.

It looks like it’s s all F tron sized.  Is that radically different than standard humbucker size?

I’m about to reinstall a Super D in a Hamer Special FM.  I pulled the Super D for a PAFish pickup in the bridge, but I’m reversing course!
