I put the black and wire together and take the measure using the red as hot and green + ground.

On last Sunday I installed a push pull and I split the both pickups, reading on multimeter was aproximately 4 - 4.5k. So, the bobins are ok...

Hello guys!

I recently bought an used DiMarzio Fast Track 1 and I'm thinking that has something wrong with the pickup.

On DiMarzio website the FT1 has 5.8k resistance but my pickups has 9.3k on multimeter.

There is something wrong with the pickup or can be another model? Maybe the Chopper .. DP184

The label on the back from the pickup is marked DP181 like the Fast Track 1.

I have other chopper in the bridge position, and it has 8.7k.

Do you have any ideas what's going on?

Hi guys,

This DiMarzio Blue Velvet is "real"? I know that pickup by DP170 code but this pickup have more numbers/letters on the back.
