Yeah, thats as I thought, looking at all the pictures out there, not one thing makes this look like its gonna be a Dimarzio!

I'll just have to send it back and make sure I get a real one next time

Thanks for the help!

I see what you mean about changing the bottom plate and it could be a rebuilt Dimarzio.

The top doesnt look like my Dimarzio pickup either, the little holes around the pole pieces are not the same, the pickup wires are 'Dae Young' branded, quite cheap looking. (Also a little wear hole on the side tape which is exposing the green wire, not good....)

I havnt measured it yet but it has 8.4k scratched on the bottom plate

(edit- Just whipped the meter out and I get 8.21k)

Hi guys, I'm new here just signed up,

I need your help in identifying a pickup I just got

I'm in the process of restoring my old guitar, thought I'd try some pickups

Ordered what was listed as a Dimarzio PAF Pro but had no stamping on the back when it arrived, and something just doesnt look right

After looking through some pictures I found these

https://www.jemsite.com/forums/f35/can-anyone-identify-these-pickups-147402.html

Which I thought looked familiar, I had seen the 'N' stamped on there before somewhere....

Is this just an Artec Humbucker?
