I need more of these. I might buy a longer one for the board to amp. local dealer doesn't have stock of the patch cable, i'd probably hit those too if they have them.

Meh, I've had a Monster Cable for 10 years that hasn't failed me yet. At most, I only ever use a single stomp box, or more recently my multieffects unit, so it only necessitates two cables at most.
Maybe if I can sell some stuff, I'll take a look at a DiMarzio cable.

Raw cables aren't expensive though. Good quality plugs are...

The Dimarzio cables are incredible. The Patch cables are also killer I use them on my pedal boards. The speaker cables are just unbelievable. They use switchcraft ends. The cables handle plenty of abuse.
Hopefully some of you guys can come out to some of my clinics this year and get some free. I always get giveaways and raffle items from Dimarzio. Pickups, Cables Cliplocks etc.

Thanks, I'm thinking of getting the patch cables as well, but they don't have them at any stores here. Bummer, they got the instrument cables but no patch cables.
I'm also getting a Lava Clear Connect cable. We'll see how the Dimarzio compares with it.

Just got my Lava cable a few days ago. Comparing it with the Dimarzio, the Lava is clearer and brighter. But I'm not selling the Dimarzio. I'm keeping it. I don't like an overly bright signal.

I compared the Lava Clear Connect and the Dimarzio...the Dimarzio has a more pronounced midrange and bass. Takes away some of the highs, compared to the Clear Connects.

im rockin two steve vai customs with george l`s for the pedals. george l`s rock. fellow band member (pro for years and years and was the head guitar teacher at ESP here in Japan) has EVERYTHING and has tried EVERYTHING and still rocks george l`s on his live pedal board. the boost in gain from my dirt boxes with the steve vai customs made me very very happy. I love em. BUT - - - they will color your tone a tad. they will color it... green
but not so much and in my case it took my blood red tone and gave it a much more interesting tone by boosting the sustain and gain (therefor lessening the compression from my pedals).

You'd think Duncan would get into the cable race.
I just use Telephoen pole cable..a bit bulky but delivers 100% of the signal

I'm using Elixir cables now, out of curiousity and in need of a change after years and years using Mogami
I haven't tried DiMarzio cables though
