Musical instrument companies do not throw the kind of money at artist as many believe. Most artist get discounted or free gear and promotion, but there is no money. Signature artist get royalties of course, and I doubt YJM got anything more than a royalty check from Larry.I can't see anyone throwing real money at YJM for pups, so who knows the real reason.
