I'm converting my tele to a double humbucker guitar. I'm selling the Twang King set which is only a year old and like new. They sell for $120 new. I'll sell the set for $90 shipped within the US. Let me know if interested, first $90 takes them.

The Pickup Place / Gravity Storm vs Air Zone
« on: January 26, 2017, 10:10:48 PM »
I have a gravity storm in an rg and love it. I hear lots of good about the air zone and might try one in a guitar, how's it handle heavy stuff?

The gravity storm bridge is amazing and no harsh highs. If you want more classic metal/rock a super distortion would work. If you need darker in the neck then AN , liquifire, breed. I don't like dark neck pups because I like more attack and punch, just not an c
Ice pick. I like Pac joe, gravity storm  neck, both have nice balance and are musical.

The super distortion is thee classic 80s pickup and sounds good clean and split. I hear good things about the air zone as well.

The Pickup Place / Humbuckers for telecaster
« on: January 26, 2017, 04:41:04 PM »
So I have two teles, one stock, one w twang kings. The next one will be duel hum. I've always wanted a paf Joe neck pup  for a nice clean and round  glassy tone. The bridge is where I'm still deciding. I love playing instrumental guitar ala satch but also play a lot of early metal like priest, maiden, and 80s stuff. P
Fred and mojo get mixed reviews so was thinking a super d or air zone? Being a Tele and bright already I don't want anything icepicky. Thoughts
