Has anyone tried the Dark Matter 2 bridge pickup?

What is it like particularly compared to Evo, since that's my reference point. I have the Evo 2 in a LP style guitar. And I am wondering what are the differences are besides the lower output? Thanks. My Evo 2 actually has the airbucker soft plastic pieces removed, like it better this way.

It'll be a lot more forgiving. More comparable to the Gravity Storm than the Evo and Evo 2.

I've been wondering about this pickup myself for a while.  I think the price of admission for that silly cover is putting a lot of people off.

Is it darker/fatter? More PAF-ish?
