How exactly would i make an Air Norton into a Norton? Bars under the screws? I want to try a Norton just because.

You could take the pickup apart and remove the air spacer between the magnet and the poles. Although your results may not be 100% exact to a regular Norton, it should get your fairly close.

Try this too if on the neck (shreddy as hell);

magnet touching screws
metal bar on poles (or a guitar string)
a slight air gap between the magnet and the metal bar
